There are many ways to get involved with Offshore Theatre
While actors and directors are essential requirements so too are people behind the scenes. A key way to get involved is to nominate for a committee position – or simply by becoming a Friend of Offshore Theatre. Once decisions are made about which play to present, a range of skills are needed to bring it all together.
Roles include set design, set build, sourcing props and costumes, creating publicity material, booking venues, placing advertising material in local papers and shop windows, email database management, website updates, front of house, refreshments servers, lighting and sound effects, stage management, production management….the list goes on. By becoming a Friend of Offshore Theatre with a $10 donation you are automatically included in insurance while involved in any Offshore activity. Support Phillip Island Offshore Theatre by donating.
