Two One-Act Plays

Offshore Theatre is presenting two one-act plays in May 2015 at the Cowes Cultural Centre.

Butter Side Up – by Maggie Dealey and directed by Sara FleisnerButter Side Up

A 50 minute comedy set in a coastal B’n’B. 

There are domestic dramas going on between Sally, Sam and Charlie.

Then the guests appear.  Nem has an uncanny knack of upsetting everyone, while respectable Miss Hartley appears to be wanted by the Police.   Then the roof starts leaking and the power goes off.  Surprisingly, this cheers everyone up!

A Little Box of Oblivion – by Sean Bean and directed by Jan Coulson

A 40 minute absurd comedy set in a park. A Little Box of Oblivion

Four people, all unknown to each other,  try to work out how to deal with a box left behind by a woman in a hurry.   Their opinions on what the box contains and what to do with it, reflect their personalities.   Do either, or none of them, hit on the truth?
